  • Minimized risk of infection and/or side effects

The Infiniti system enables micro-coaxial cataract surgery (MCCS) which reduces the surgical incision area from 3.2 mm to 2.2 mm and reduces corneal endothelial cell damage during surgery. MCCS improves operative stability which means better post-operative results, quicker recovery of vision, and even higher patient satisfaction.

Unlike conventional hand pieces which remove cataracts using back and forth vibrations, Ozil’s Intifiti hand piece features side-to-side oscillating ultrasonic movement. The result is increased cutting efficiency with a shorter operation time and increased safety profile.

Examination Equipment

Cassini (i-optics, Netherlands)

Multi-color LED Corneal Morphology Analysis Technology
  • Unique Cassini Multi-color LED Corneal Morphology Analysis technology uses red, green and yellow LEDs as ‘triangulation’ points to provide a complete ‘GPS-like’ coordinate analysis of your cornea. This technology can measure the astigmatism axis as well. It maintains high reproducibility within 3 degrees of the astigmatism axis, and provides a total corneal astigmatism value which improves surgical outcomes for refractive surgery and cataract surgery.

Daytona (optos, UK)

Ultra-widefield (UWF) digital camera
  • The Daytona is used to easily and accurately diagnose retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, peripheral retinal degeneration, and retinal detachment by imaging the periphery of the retina without enlarging the pupil.

CASIA (Tomey, Japan)

Anterior segment tomography equipment
  • Only two Cornea / Anterior Segment tomography equipment available nationwide.

  • The CASIA allows us to capture images of the corneal lens shape. With three-dimensional anterior segment imaging, we can collect detailed data about the corneal topography of your eye, before and after surgery which lets us create surgical plans and monitor you post-surgery.

CIRRUS OCT (Cirrus OCT - Carl Zeiss, Germany)

Optical Tomography
  • CIRRUS uses optical coherence tomography (OCT) to deliver the latest retina and glaucoma non-invasive diagnostics imaging tests. OCT uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina and so we can closely examine the thickness of each of the retina’s distinctive layers and the optic nerve.

Pentacam Oculyzer (Pentacam Oculyzer - Alcon, USA)

Anterior segment tomography equipment
  • Pentacam Oculyzer offers detailed and accurate imaging of the anterior and posterior corneal topography and provides in depth data about corneal thickness and depth.

※NUNEVIT Eye Center analyses your anterior corneal segment twice using both CASIA and Pentacam to and ensure accuracy and safety.

OPD Scan (OPD Scan - NIDEK, Japan)

Refractive power corneal analyzer
  • This device measures the refractive status of your eye, astigmatism axis, high order aberration, and size of pupils to provide broad and precise data for effective planning of vision corrective surgery.

ORA (ORA - Reichert, USA)

Ocular Response Analyser
  • The Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA) is an excellent predictor of glaucoma progression. It is very useful for measuring Corneal Hysteresis, which is the cornea's ability to absorb and dissipate energy. It also helps us measure the Corneal Compensated Intraocular Pressure (IOPcc), and evaluate the possibility of causing corneal dilatation after vision correction surgery.

IOL Master (Carl Zeiss, Germany)

Non-contact cataract screening equipment
  • The IOL Master laser accurately creates full-length OCT images to show anatomical details on a longitudinal cut through the entire eye. It uses built-in intraocular lens power calculation software to assist us to select the correct intraocular lens for you.

Fundus Camera (Fundus Camera - Canon, Japan)

Fundus Camera
  • This is the primary device used for retinal disease and glaucoma screening. The Fundus Camera is used to capture high-resolution images of the central and peripheral retina, optic disc and macula.

AutoRefracto Keratometer (Canon, Japan)

Automatic refractometer
  • TThe Auto Refractormeter automatically measures the type and degree of myopia, astigmatism, and refraction.

  • The Auto Refracto Keratometer automatically aligns and acquires a reading for one eye and then continues to the opposite eye to perform the same function which improves the accuracy of the refraction test.

Humphrey field analyzer (Carl Zeiss, Germany)

Precision Field Inspector
  • The Humphrey field analyzer accurately measures the sensitivity of the field of vision. This is a key instrument for timely detection of early glaucoma and monitoring its progress.

Humphrey Matrix (Carl Zeiss, Germany)

Matrix automatic vision checkerr
  • The Humphrey Matrix automatic vision checker is primarily used for glaucoma screening because it can diagnose visual field abnormalities easily by reducing the general visual field inspection time.

Non-contact Tonometer (Canon, Japan)

Contactless Tonometer
  • The Non-contact Tonometer uses air pressure to measure intraocular pressure which is one of the main indicators of eye health.

Rebound Tonometer (Icare, Finland)

Rebound tonometer
  • The Rebound Tonometer is particularly useful because it measures intraocular pressure by precise touch. This means that it is possible to measure intraocular pressure in sensitive or post-operative corneas because this device puts less pressure on the eye than equipment which uses air pressure does.

RETeval (LKC, USA)

Visual Electrophysiology Testing Devices
  • The RETeval is an ISCEV (International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision) compliant system for evaluating the retina’s response to light. Corneal contact electrodes, scalp electrodes, and ground electrodes are attached to the skin under the eyes using a special tape form to minimize the inconvenience. NUNEVIT Eye Center has introduced this technology to Korea first.

Specular microscope (CSO, Italy)

Corneal Endothelial Microscope
  • We use this necessary equipment to evaluate corneal endothelial cells before and after surgery to the back of the cornea, such as intraocular lens implantation or cataract surgery.

A-Scan (Quantel, France)

Ultrasonic cataract screening equipment
  • This device uses ultrasound to determine the length of the eye. The A-scan is extremely beneficial because it helps determine the power of the intraocular lens (IOL) needed for implantation.

Pachymeter (Tomey, Japan)

Ultrasonic Corneal Thickness Gauge
  • The Pachymeter Corneal thickness gauge uses an ultrasound probe in direct contact with the cornea to accurately measure corneal thickness

※ NUNEVIT Eye Center uses the “Triple Exam Process” to measure corneal thickness  with Pachymeter, Pentacam, and CASIA.

PlusOptix (Plusoptix, Germany)
